Vintage Jukebox

Released in the early 1960s, the AMI Model K represented AMI’s move toward modernized jukebox design for post-war entertainment. This project was an experimental, high-detail build, treated closer to a film asset. Shown here are 4K, 8K, and 12K renders β€” zoom in to explore the finer details. Thanks for checking it out :)

"This project took more than half a year to complete and was mostly experimental. It was the first time working with such high texture density, closer to a movie-style asset, using a 512 texel density across 4K UDIMs. The model was done in Maya, UVs in Rizom, texturing in Substance Painter with some Photoshop, and rendered in Blender. Since laptop VRAM can’t be upgraded, the only option was increasing RAM to allow more shared memory. This made the renders possible but significantly slower. Even after upgrading from 16GB to 64GB RAM, the project still pushed the system to its limits and became a major learning curve."
